Quick and Easy Tokwa Sisig

As a Mom, you always look and try for new recipes that you can prepare for your family and just recently I made an attempt to make  Tokwa Sisig. The truth is,it is hubby who really cooks well. But I always try or make an effort to still prepare a dish for him. Today, I'm sharing with you a very easy dish that you too can serve to your family.

I chose this dish simply because of my love for tofu. It is very affordable and you can easily find the ingredients in the local market. A protein-rich food, tofu is known to be healthy. If you are avoiding meat and craving for "sisig", this dish is a must try.


10 tokwa
Cooking oil
Siling haba
Oyster sauce


1. Fry the tokwa and sliced into cubes. Set aside.

2. Combine oyster sauce and mayonnaise. Set aside.

3. Sauté garlic,onion and siling haha.  Add the fried tokwa.

4. Then add your mayonnaise-oyster sauce mixture. Make sure to coat the tofu with the mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Serve and enjoy😋

Best if you serve this dish in a sizzling plate. My family really likes this quick and simple dish. Next time, I will make a tofu sandwich, just in time for back to school "pang-baon" . How about you Mom, share to us what is your favorite tofu dish.
