Satisfying Comfort Food at Taste of Capitol

Have you ever been at The Taste of Capitol? Located at JSB Building, Tomas morato Avenue Corner Scout Delgado Street, Sacred Heart, Quezon City, Taste of Capitol is a stylish American All-Day-Breakfast Bistro-diner that family and group of friends will surely hang out.

I was delighted to see the artistic interiors of the place and started with Barbeque Ribs, this is my favorite meal. Its very flavorful, the meat was tender and juicy.

All-American favorites partnered with Filipino specialties create a delicious fusion of East and West at the latest must-try dining establishment to open in the Metro – Taste of Capitol.

Catering to diners of all ages, Taste of Capitol gets inspiration from the popular bistro/diners from the West, which serve satisfying comfort food day in and day out. With a menu lineup filled with a sumptuous selection of appetizers, mains, desserts, specialty drinks and even all-day breakfast, Taste of Capitol in Tomas Morato, Quezon City is truly worth visiting should you find yourself in the area.

Pork Sisig

Chicago Meatballs
All these are complemented by a sweet medley of desserts like ice cream sundaes, milk shakes, and halo-halo, which are perfect for especially cold days or simply capping off a decadent meal.

For groups of friends who want to enjoy good food before – or after a night of partying in one of the city’s most popular entertainment and dining hubs, A Taste of Capitol also serves a variety of flavored beer that they may want to try. There’s Quebec (cassis flavor), Victoria (rose flavor), Sourizza (lime flavor), and Flamefizz (lychee flavor). Alcohol shots like whiskey, rhum, gin, tequila, brandy, and vodka are also available at the restaurant.

But for those who can’t get enough of breakfast food all day, everyday, A Taste of Capitol also serves a sumptuous selection of All-Day Breakfast fare like Spam Hotdog & Bacon, Bacon Bits Mix Tocino, Bangus at Laing, Bangus at Tocino, Boneless Bangus, Pork Sisig, Corned Beef, Beef Tapa, Calamares, and Longganisa. All these are served with plain rice and egg.

Bangus and Tocino served with rice and egg is my favorite and also a must try. A complete meal and very affordable    ( Php150 ).

The restaurant’s wide selection of breakfast fare is also something worth looking into – divided into two groups, the Big Breakfast is available from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 12noon and Sunday from 7am to 12noon, diners can get their fill of their breakfast food favorites in even bigger servings. There’s the classic Pancake & Bacon (four pancakes and six bacons), Bacon & Egg (six bacons, two eggs and rice), Big Breakfast (spam, two bacons, hotdog, longganisa, and tocino), and Breakfast Sausage (four sausages, two toasts, and two eggs).
