Love yourself by getting a Life and Non Life Insurance

Last year was the most challenging and difficult year for me. I undergo two surgery. The first one was the so called pyeloplasty and the other one was kidney stent removal. Thankfully, with God's grace, I was able to surpass and recover well from that. Now, I was scheduled for some laboratories like the In Vitro Gfr to follow up and monitor my condition. I hope and pray that the test will be okay, so I can focus on everything without worrying too much and hopefully be healthy again.

Throwback: Selfie before going to the Operating Room 😊

Looking back, I couldn't imagine surpassing last year's trial without God and without the support of my family. At some point, I ask myself,  why do I need to undergo such trial? What will happen to my family if something bad happen to me. And then I realized, that I need to trust God and lift everything to him.

John 13:7 Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand"

Minsan, kailangan pa may mangyari para kumilos!!! My main concern was to save money for my children's education. Until October of 2017, I was diagnosed with Uretero Pelvic junction obstruction. To sum up, Were advised to prepare about 250 thousand pesos for my surgery. With the help of the family, specially my sister who help me and gave her cash prize for me from a blog writing contest, we were able to prepare the said amount.

Early this year, I got my St.Peter Memorial plan. And just recently, I attended the Country Bankers Insurance Group BlogCon 2019. They are celebrating their 54 years in providing simple and affordable insurance to Filipino families.

History

CBLIC was established on March 28, 1965 by founding president, Jose E. Desiderio, Sr. who found a niche by addressing the insurance needs of small and medium business entrepreneurs, farmers, fishermen, and public school teachers in rural areas, a market largely untapped in the 1960s.

Today, the third-generation Desiderios continue to uphold this legacy of accessible insurance to low-income Filipinos, with Country Bankers Insurance Group (CBIG) senior vice president and general manager, Geraldine Desiderio-Garcia steering the company to reach more Filipinos.
“We have made insurance very simple. We are proud to be a Filipino company.  While we offer basic insurance products, we try to be relevant to the market we serve,” says Garcia.
Country Bankers is the choice insurance provider in the countryside because it has made affordable, reliable insurance plans accessible to rural folk. Its micro-insurance products also help educate Filipinos on the benefits of insurance by promoting its value to a broader market.
CBIG has two subsidiaries: CBLIC, a life insurance provider, and Country Bankers Insurance Corporation (CBIC) for non-life insurance products.
“There have always been hurdles to overcome, but we remain committed to addressing the needs of the common Filipino. Through the years we have proven to be reliable insurers by reaching out to our target market and giving them insurance that works for them,” says Garcia.

PRACTICAL AND RELEVANT
Today, CBLIC continues to develop a wide array of insurance plans that are not only practical and relevant, but also provide the necessary support for plan holders in times of need.
Among these is the Classic Benefit Plan, offering insurance protection up to age 96 and  is payable in a three-, five-, seven-, or 10-year period.

Alalay sa Buhay (ASB), on the other hand, provides renewable one-year insurance to individuals 13-70 years old for only Php 365, with natural and accidental death benefits.
ASB is also available for families and seniors, with ASB family being renewable up to age 70 for principal insured and covers up to 3 to 5 family members for only Php 750 for one unit.  ASB for Seniors covers individuals ages 71-80 and offers insurance for one year for only Php 1,000 for one unit.
“I want our company to be known as a ‘company with a heart,’ and one that can be relied upon to follow through with its commitment. Our promise is to keep delivering what we have pledged to give,” concludes Garcia.
As CBLIC continues to evolve as a company, it stays true to its core values:  sincere, dependable service to farmers, fishermen, small and medium business owners, employees, and teachers, mostly from rural areas. CBIG remains a reliable ally to Filipinos seeking security for themselves and their families, though its life and nonlife products.

As I begin to love more myself, allow myself to be surrounded with positivity and everything that is good for my health. Understand and accept that everything or anything can happen to me anytime. That's life. It is not easy to say to be prepared for it, but I guess to do something about it by considering getting life and non life insurance.
