I was invited at the special movie screening of Finally Found Someone at the SM Mega Mall Cinema 8 last Monday. I was allowed to bring along a friend to watch the film, and so decided to watch together with hubby. We were being welcomed by the Spark It team and Oppo Philippines Team at the Maisen Restaurant and had a heavy meal and a quick briefing about the event. Oppo Philippines gives its full support to the much anticipated big-screen comeback of Sarah Geronimo, who stars in this year's biggest romantic-comedy of the year, Finally Found Someone.
Have you seen the movie? The movie opens in cinema starting July 26. The story is about Aprilyn ( Sarah Geronimo ) who was being left by her groom Randy (played by Enchong Dee) during their wedding day. In her will to know why she was being left behind, he tried to chase her groom (the same day, wedding day) but did'nt make it on time. Eventually, she met Raffy ( John Loyd Cruz ) who is a PR guy in the movie. It was such a roller coaster ride of emotions as Raffy and Aprilyn face a PR Crisis with a cutthoat, career-driven over achiever while the other end of the spectrum is an honest, sincere and idealistic girl who believes in the powers of the heart. A story between what to choose; a sure career path over love.
My favorite part of the movie was the scene where Sarah G was walking,crying and writing a letter to her groom Randy ignoring the huge crowd of people in the middle of Bonifacio Global City (BGC) wearing her wedding gown. Director Theodore Borobol aims to excite fans in this not-so-typical rom-com by showing the versatility of both Sarah and John Loyd. The intense tension between the characters keep the viewers on their feet and waiting in anticipation on whether or not they can see past their differences and have their relationships blossom into something more. How did Aprilyn(SarahG) get over with her suppose to be #Futurehusband? And what did Raffy (JLC) chose; career or love? Well, you should watch the film to find out.😉
